We now have an update from the Boundary Commission on the proposals to remove Burton from the Rossett Ward and merge it with Llay. See original article from March 2020 about the village meeting.
To Summarise – they have take the opposition views of the residents, community council and councillors into consideration in their decision to leave the boundaries as they are now. But owing to the to the population size of Rossett they intend to increase the number of Councillors representing the residents from one to two.
